Creative Director

As Creative Director, I defined and articulated the game’s vision, translating it into visual mockups, design briefs, and pitch decks to communicate with and align cross-disciplinary teams.

Mockup

A strong example of my work is the title screen. I established the vision for a dramatic composition using five point perspective and an approachable color palette. I laid out a mockup to communicate the composition and imagery, and in collaboration with artist Matthew Miller, we refined the composition and color treatment to achieve the final result shown on the right.

Design Brief

I defined the creative direction for the game’s three toy factions, establishing their visual identity, character, and gameplay roles. To align the team, I produced a preliminary design brief (pictured left) outlining each faction’s aesthetic and an initial unit roadmap detailing strengths, weaknesses, and tactical differentiation.

Pitch Deck

As Creative Director, I translated the game’s vision into a structured pitch deck (pictured right) designed to communicate core pillars, differentiators, and gameplay loops to new team members and prospective investors.

Lead Artist

As Lead Artist, I established and maintained the game’s visual style, providing structured feedback and direction to ensure cohesion across all assets. I developed style guides, reviewed and edited deliverables, and communicated clear artistic goals
to align with the project’s overall creative vision.

Style Guides

I created a comprehensive style guide defining the game’s artistic direction, including color palette, visual conventions, and technical constraints. This documentation ensured consistency across assets and streamlined collaboration within the art team.

Edits

I reviewed and refined artwork across the team, providing edits ranging from targeted adjustments to full visual overhauls. These revisions ensured stylistic consistency and upheld the project’s quality standards (pictured below).

Communicating Objectives

I implemented SCRUM-based task tracking for the art team, creating structured sprint spreadsheets to define objectives, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress toward milestones.
